Week #3 Things 5, 6 and 7

Flickr is really interesting. I am not comfortable putting up pictures of any family and I probably wouldn't put up a picture that might identify where I lived. Paranoid? I know you can make it private, but how safe is it? I don't know. I did play with the trading card maker. It was really fun. It would be fun to make cards with my grandsons on their bikes. They would love it. This has encouraged me to use a web-based photo program for my digital pictures. It would be nice to have them stored somewhere besides my computer. I am also going to work on albums that family have access to.

Week #1 Thing 1 and Thing 2

This will be a challenging class for me. Doing new things on the computer is not as intuitive to me as it seems to be for students. Fortunately, the class is set up in baby steps. I really enjoyed the 7 and one-half habits. The easiest for me is setting the goal. I do this a lot. The hardest part is sticking to it!! I think it is also hard to find the time to play. There seems to be any number of things that must get done so the play gets put on the back burner. I am trying to learn Spanish and my husband bought me the Rosetta Stone series. I am going to set aside 45 mins. every day at 8:00 a.m. to do one lesson. I am also going to listen to Spanish television for half-an-hour each day. I will need to modify this when I return to school, but part of the seven habits is to revisit the goals and steps and adjust. Adios until next time.
